Building management system OPENweb
Our web-based and B-AWS certified BACnet building control system (BMS) OPENweb specializes in monitoring and controlling HVAC systems as well as zone and room control in the building – locally on site or as a BMS in the cloud.
Product highlights
With OPENweb you benefit from numerous features and advantages. Discover them now.
Energy efficient monitoring & control of your buildings
With our B-AWS certified BACnet building control system (BMS) OPENweb, you always have an overview of your building technology systems. For this purpose, an HTML 5 web client (operation via browsers such as Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, etc.), a desktop client and an app are available. In addition, our intelligent control strategy ensures operation at the energetic optimum. Plant faults and alarms are communicated directly via the internal Event Control Center (ECC) and can be sent to your service staff via the DEOS Secure AlarmApp. This allows you to act quickly and efficiently.
From secure remote maintenance and simple system integration to economical site networking of your properties – OPENweb is the right BMS for your individual projects and requirements.
OPENweb features at a glance
Building control is that easy with OPENwebCloud!
Eliminate the need for expensive hardware for your on-site BMS server, tedious installation and update procedures, or additional staffing to maintain your BMS software. With OPENwebCloud you not only rely on a user-friendly BMS but also on Software as a Service. We deliver your BMS on our DEOS high performance servers (located in Germany), keep OPENweb always up to date and are always available with our IT experts to support and advise you. Go for manageable monthly payments instead of large investments. It doesn’t matter how small or large your HVAC system is: planning is done on a data point basis starting at 100 data points. BACnet and physical data points are treated in the same way. This way, even small plants can benefit from the advantages of a full-fledged BMS like OPENweb.
In addition to our worry-free service, we also offer you exclusive benefits in the cloud version: You receive our modular extensions such as the OPENweb Event Control Center or the Event Server free of charge in addition to the cloud subscription. Thus, you can enjoy the full functionality of OPENweb.
OPENwebCloud – this is how we make the future!
Which operation suits you? You have the free choice!
The graphical operating concept of our BMS is one thing above all: simple! Whether with a PC, smartphone or tablet – you operate OPENweb as flexibly as you wish. The graphic display of the system makes operation child’s play and even more intuitive. This way, even employees without prior knowledge can monitor and control the room and system parameters.
OPENweb in detail
Scope of functions
Event Control Center
The Event Control Center (ECC) is the central interface for displaying and editing messages (alarms and events). In addition to the temporal recording of acknowledgements, events such as alarms and messages can be edited and filtered.
- Management, display and processing of messages (alarms and events)
- Comprehensive information – proprietary and BACnet
- Display of existing and historical events in separate views
Trend management
- Optimise system settings during operation with live trending
- Wide range of tools such as axis parameterisation, CSV export or report printing
- Unlimited number of trend curves per diagram
- Free and individual selection of trend data from different controllers
- Automatic CSV export by e-mail
- Historisation of trend data in case of value changes
- Freely adjustable query interval of each data point
- Automatic connection set-up to decentralised OPEN EMS
Graphic system visualisation
- Representation of plant graphics can be individually designed
- Process-dependent animations of the graphic objects
- Creation of own BACnet graphics libraries
- Cross-project use of own libraries through export and import functions
- Variety of supported image formats: Vector graphics WMF, SVG as well as JPG, PNG, GIF, animated GIF
- Display of system graphics with graphic objects for visualisation of target, actual and event data as images, sliders, columns, texts, lines, colour objects
Communication driver
- Proprietary TCP/IP Connection on Demand (Intranet or Internet)
- Proprietary TCP/IP Connection on Demand (Intranet or Internet)
- Dial-up (e.g. via modem)
- BACnet/IP (extension module)
- LDAP (for connection to Active Directory systems)
Logbook
- Automatic historising of events and messages
Extensions
ECC configuration
User-specific design of the Event Control Centre
- Number of views, filters, table columns, acoustic signalling, authorisations etc. can be individualised
Trend & Event APIs
Connection of third-party systems to OPENweb via standardised APIs (OpenAPI)
- Trend API
- Reading of all trend data points from proprietary controllers and BACnet devices
- Various endpoints e.g. for querying samples per trend data point, trend data points per controller etc.
- Event API
- Reading of all event information, e.g. for use in ERP systems
- Writing comments and acknowledging events
SQL
- Bidirectional data exchange with external systems via integrated SQL server
- Data exchange via ODBC interface
- Data points from different projects can be freely selected
- Update interval for each data point individually adjustable
BACnet/SC Hub
- Latest BACnet protocol for secure communication
- OPENweb can be used as BACnet/SC Primary Hub or BACnet/SC Failover Hub
- Not required for OPENweb to be used as a BACnet/SC Node
FIAS / Fidelio
- Connection (via BACnet according to ISO 16484-5) of the Fidelio hotel booking system
- Provision of information on room occupancy (check-in, check-out, etc.) as BACnet objects
- One BACnet object (multistate) is used per room
Trend authorisation
- Combining controllers and BACnet devices into authorisation groups
- Users who are assigned to an authorisation group only have access to the trend data of the controllers and BACnet devices in this group
