Multigateway OPEN GATE – collecting vendor-neutral building data
The OPEN GATE is a multigateway and is used as a vendor-neutral data collector in buildings and TGA systems. It provides the basis for various applications such as energy monitoring or alarm management. The various building data are collected by OPEN GATE and made available to the in-house developed IoT platform pro.Building Suite. The special feature of this solution is its manufacturer neutrality – the OPEN GATE can therefore be integrated into any building, even with existing TGA systems from third-party manufacturers. The multigateway uses the standard protocols BACnet, Modbus or M-BUS for this purpose. All collected data is uniformly processed and visualized by the IoT platform. This ensures optimum transparency in the building, the standardization of TGA operation and, in the end, a reduction in costs in technical building operation.

Easy installation & configuration
The installation of OPEN GATE is very simple: After the electrical wiring in the control cabinet, the multigateway registers in the pro.Building Suite and can be set up via browser. An installation wizard supports even untrained personnel and simplifies commissioning. Whether access to the subscribed building data, the rights concept for data access or the distribution logic of the alarm messages – all this is managed centrally in the pro.Building Suite. The graphical user interface also simplifies operation for technical personnel. Quite incidentally, the building owner receives the digital twin of the real building and thus clearly documented structures.
