DEOS TEO deployed in the city of Geldern

The city of Geldern, with a population of around 35,000, is located in the west of North Rhine-Westphalia. The city of Geldern aims to take short-term measures to reduce its current energy consumption and heating costs. The LoRaWAN network, which was set up in 2021 in collaboration with the Geldern municipal utilities, is to be expanded in conjunction with the DEOS SAM CO2 traffic light system with another LoRaWAN product, the DEOS TEO radiator thermostat.

The first installation will take place at the Adelheid Primary School in Geldern, where all classrooms and school rooms will be equipped with the battery-free LoRaWAN radiator thermostat DEOS TEO. In this way, the school will help to reduce the city of Geldern’s energy consumption by at least 20%.
