rock´n´popmuseum
The museum, which Gronau owes to the vision of its most famous son, Udo Lindenberg, is designed as a place of musical expression and boundary-pushing.
Located in the newly landscaped Inselpark at the State Garden Show, the completely renovated historic turbine hall (built in 1895) of the Mathieu van Delden textile factory offers 2,000 square meters of exhibition space.
To ensure that visitors feel comfortable and can enjoy the museum’s exhibitions and events even when the venue is fully booked, state-of-the-art building automation maintains a comfortable climate throughout the entire building. Full air conditioning systems for all exhibition areas, cutting-edge ventilation technology in the ancillary rooms, underfloor heating, and static heating circuits guarantee a pleasant visit to the rock’n’popmuseum. At the same time, operating costs can be optimized and thus reduced with the OPEN 3000 automation system. All data from operational processes is transmitted to the PC. This enables the facility manager to monitor and control the entire system from their workstation.
