Sport Center De Swaneburg

The covered swimming pool at De Swaneburg sports centre in the municipality of Coevorden had to undergo a complete renovation in summer 2014 due to safety deficiencies in the building’s construction. Due to the renovation costs and the budget cut, a way to permanently reduce the operating costs was also sought. The DEOS cost control technology for ventilation systems OPENbalance (today: OPENdynamics) proved to be the perfect solution.

The existing ventilation systems could be retained and were merely equipped with frequency controllers. Using these, OPENdynamics can always adjust the ventilation in such a way that the most cost-effective operating point is always achieved. In this way, OPENdynamics ensures low energy consumption and cost savings. At the same time, a pleasant indoor climate and better air quality are guaranteed.
