Steigenberger Hotel
Southwest of Berlin’s central station, the company CA-Immo, constructor of the “European City”, has invested 53 Mio € in a hotel building with eight floors. After less than two years the investors, who belong to the Steigenberger group, could welcome their first guests. The area of this five-star hotel, designed by architects Reichel + Stauth, covers 20,000 m² building area. The new building, which includes 412 rooms and has a natural stone facade, will be Germany´s largest “InterCity Hotel”.
Planner of this hotel want to achieve a “Green-Building-Certification” like Breaam for the project. In order to get this certificate, the construction of the hotel is controlled by energy-efficient building automation systems of DEOS AG.
