Germany’s largest InterCityHotel in Berlin: DEOS building automation as the basis for green building certification

Southwest of Berlin Central Station, CA-Immo, the developer of Europa-City, has invested €53 million in a new eight-story hotel. After just under two years, the hoteliers belonging to the Steigenberger Group were able to welcome their first guests. The first-class hotel covers an area of 20,000 m². The new building, which has 412 rooms and a natural stone façade, is the largest InterCity Hotel in Germany to date.

The designers of the five-star hotel have planned for the building to receive “green building certification.” To achieve this goal, the new hotel building will be controlled and regulated by energy-efficient building automation from DEOS AG.
