Isar Amper Clinic
60 controllers, 5,000 data points – intelligent automation on a hospital scale
The Isar-Amper Clinic in Munich East is one of the largest specialist hospitals for psychiatry, psychotherapy, psychosomatic medicine, and neurology in Germany.
With over 2,200 employees, nearly 1,200 beds, and 90 semi-inpatient places, the hospital provides comprehensive psychiatric care for the state capital of Munich and the surrounding area, specializing in addiction, geriatric psychiatry, and forensic psychiatry.
The spacious hospital was equipped with powerful OPEN EMS automation stations of types 3000, 4000, 700, and 500. A total of approximately 60 controllers have been installed to date. The OPENweb GLT software enables the user to operate, monitor, parameterize, and comprehensively manage the controllers’ alarms.
Connections to external systems were implemented via the following interfaces: DALI, BACnet, MBus, Modbus.
The OPENweb building management software works precisely and smoothly with both the new controllers and those of the predecessor BASICline system. Approximately 5000 physical data points are processed.
