Indoor air quality always in view

A high CO₂ content in the room air reduces the ability to concentrate. At the same time, the CO₂ content of indoor air is also an indication of the amount of aerosols that contribute to the spread of infections such as the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus. Regular ventilation reduces the CO₂ and thus also the aerosol concentration in the room.

The DEOS SAM (Sensor-based Air Quality Measurement) indoor air qualitiy indicator shows you the current room air quality in a three-stage traffic light system. Thus, with SAM you always keep an eye on the air quality in the room and ventilate in a targeted and effective manner. Networking with DEOS platform (cloud)

If the CO₂ content of several independent zones is to be monitored, supervisors are to be responsible for a large number of rooms, or proof of correct ventilation is to be provided (verification requirement), DEOS SAM can be networked via LoRaWAN to form an intelligent overall solution. The collected sensor data is transferred to the DEOS Iot platform of the pro.Building Suite via a gateway. This allows multiple rooms to be used in a central location in the Reports and Dashboards modules or for operation with the smart radiator thermostat DEOS TEO.

In addition, you can use a portal to define the setpoints of all sensors, manage profiles of the individual rooms. Centralized trend recording allows reports to be quickly and easily exported and printed as required. This is done via standard browser without any further software installation. In this way, you easily fulfill your obligation to prove that your premises are optimally ventilated.

Integration of existing ventilation systems

If there is already a room air conditioning (AHU) system in the building that provides ventilation for the various rooms, DEOS SAM and its CO₂-amplification can effectively supplement the ventilation control process.

In the event that the CO₂ limits are exceeded, the air supply is automatically adjusted via the air handling unit and, for example, switched to 100% fresh air supply based on demand. This way, you always ensure optimal indoor air quality and no longer need to manually intervene in ventilation. The manufacturer-neutral connection is made via our OPEN GATE reporting gateway. Existing BACnet air handling units are thus integrated into our flexible overall solution DEOS Air Quality Management. Other practical additions are also possible via the DEOS reporting gateway.
