Grafenegg Castle

The four-winged Grafenegg Castle near Vienna is famous worldwide for its concerts and the spacious park landscape.

For optimal air conditioning, DEOS system partner R+S Group opted for SRUs for this large project. Thus, the total of 11 seminar and rehearsal rooms of the castle are equipped with a large number of SRUs. The challenge here, apart from the historical building fabric, was the climatically/acoustically insulated construction so that directly neighbouring rehearsals do not interfere with each other. The highlight of the complex, the auditorium with concert hall for 1,300 guests, was also equipped with this technology. The large and small concert halls and the restaurant in the surrounding park buildings are also controlled with DEOS products and monitored via the central DEOS OPENweb building management system.
