DEOS at TÜV NORD CAMPUS Essen: Efficient control and central monitoring

TÜV NORD CAMPUS Essen is located directly on the A40 motorway, which runs through the city center. The building, with a total area of 14,600 square meters, offers space for approximately 550 employees—a total of 1,800 work on the extensive technology campus. Essen is one of the three main locations of the internationally active group.

Over 30 DDC controllers from DEOS AG (OPEN EMS) were installed in the various buildings with offices, test laboratories, meeting and conference rooms at the TÜV NORD CAMPUS Essen. The purpose: energy-optimized climate control in all parts of the property. Another special feature of this retrofit project is the IT-secure remote connection of the group’s two other main locations, Hanover and Hamburg, to the central DEOS GLT/MBE OPENweb, which was installed on site in Essen at the operator’s request. This means that central building management and energy monitoring of the properties are carried out from Essen.
