Ministry PAI

The PAI (Public Authority of Industry) in Kuwait City was converted to the latest DEOS technology. This project involved a complete product replacement at building automation level and is now equipped with DEOS products.

Divided into two phases, first the ventilation systems, the lighting management and the CO monitoring system were converted to the DEOS system. In phase two, all ventilation systems were then equipped with frequency converters and the existing ventilation system was converted to a VAV system (DEOS BACnet VAV controller) to achieve the highest possible energy efficiency. Finally, the chillers were also connected via BACnet IP in order to always have an overview of the entire building, all consumption and system information. The complete conversion took place when the building was fully occupied and thus presented a further challenge to the team in Kuwait.

The entire main building as well as 7 further branches of the ministry are now monitored and controlled via the OPENweb BMS. In addition to the installed BMS server, the service staff is equipped with an Android tablet with OPENweb app to be able to operate on the move.
