TV studio NOS

The NOS – is the largest news organisation in the Netherlands. As a public service broadcaster, it is a supplier of independent reporting, including news and sports. The NOS maintains its own production studios.

In 2015, the news studio including the connected control room was modernised with the DEOS AG products OPENbalance (today: OPENdynamics) and two BACnet controllers OPEN 810/12 EMS. In the process, the conditions in this specific room situation were greatly improved: As requested, OPENdynamics was used to optimise the air speed within the 4,000 square metre studio so that no draught effects occur any more. Furthermore, the high temperatures, caused by the technical equipment inside the studios, could be reduced to a comfortable level for the staff and studio guests. The ventilation and humidification system was also replaced. During the entire conversion project with approx. 200 data points, the NOS broadcasting station was able to continue its operations without any problems.
