Stork Residence

The historic building complex in Amsterdam is being modernized and converted into a self-service hotel. The historic building complex is located in what is now the residential neighborhood of “Oostelijke Eilande” (“Eastern Islands”), where the hotel’s namesake, the Stork Werkspoor company, was founded in the early 19th century.

Now, this historic building is being completely renovated to create a so-called “self-service hotel” with 43 apartments. Since this renovation requires the hotel to be equipped with environmentally friendly and sustainable solutions, JETTEN Installatetechniek—the contractor responsible for the plumbing and HVAC systems—is relying on DEOS AG’s automation stations for energy-efficient control of the heating and air conditioning systems.
