OPEN 600 EMS for Porsche Classic: BACnet, Modbus, and OPENview

The new Porsche Classic Center has opted for DEOS building automation. Behind Porsche’s current branch in Heteren (Gelderland), a separate building has been dedicated entirely to classic Porsches. The Classic Center covers more than five thousand square meters and the showroom has space for 25 vehicles.
In addition, a workshop has been built for repairs, which is designed for eight Porsches. In addition to repairs, the workshop also takes care of bodywork repairs, as well as the restoration and polishing of vehicles.

This is the first Porsche Classic Center in Europe, which will serve as a model for other future branches in Europe. The property is furnished entirely in Porsche’s “Classic” style. This allows you, the customer, to experience the brand itself in a unique environment.

The OPEN 600 EMS was selected for the control technology. A communication connection to the source system and the heat pump is established via BACnet. In addition, individual room temperature controllers are used, which communicate with the OPEN 600 EMS via Modbus. The powerful internal web server OPENview is also used, allowing decentralized access to the data.
