New M-Bus macro library of the 3rd generation
Up to 40% faster commissioning of M-Bus networks
With the release of the new M-Bus macro library, we guarantee you practical and efficient commissioning of your system. Thanks to M-Bus routing, the data of the M-Bus meters in the network can be accessed and the recorded data can be read from anywhere. Other new functions such as addressing M-Bus meters via the secondary address or the simple meter scan including automatic meter data import via our macros support you during commissioning and reduce your workload. The new M-Bus graphics (currently in German) also make your work easier. Thanks to the reduction to the essential displays, operating functions, new status displays and a higher-level overview page of your configured M-Bus meters, you will work more efficiently than ever. Test our new M-Bus macros now and experience these and other advantages.
Easy access to M-Bus meters
M-Bus routing allows easy scanning of the M-Bus network without additional hardware such as level converters and the associated rewiring. In addition, external analysis, energy management and commissioning tools such as MBSheet can be integrated via this interface. When routing is activated, the data of the M-Bus meters in the network can be accessed and the recorded data can be read from anywhere. This means that remote error diagnosis is also possible. The routing function can be activated once for all interfaces of the OPEN EMS and is released free of charge for implementation on all OPEN EMS controllers.
M-Bus meter scan & import
Reach your goal with just a few clicks
With the new M-Bus macros or M-Bus FUP modules, the meter scan can be performed directly via the DEOS system. No external software is required for the scan. All collected meter information is then automatically transferred to the project using the import function. No data has to be transferred manually. This reduces the workload involved in commissioning and avoids data transmission errors.
Addressing via the secondary address
Fast and clear identification
In the future, M-Bus meters can be searched, found and addressed via the secondary address in the network. This is advantageous because meters in the delivery state often have the same primary addresses and therefore not all meters are found during the scan. With addressing via the secondary address, however, M-Bus meters are clearly identified. This makes commissioning child’s play.
